Just issued last night for 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups and the just-launched 2015 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. The issue is a possible transmission line leak that could result in a fire. Also 2013 and 2014 Cruzes with 1.4-liter turbo gasoline engines to replace a right front axle half shaft that can fracture and separate without warning during normal driving, the company said. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I get that everyone has recalls, but it is the severity of those recalls that matter.

Yeah, as you said everybody has recalls. These are severe recalls, that can cause death. After the Cobalt incident, who knows what else Gm is hiding.

GM=Great Mistake, as many are finding out...again...and again. Had many GM products over the years(Corvettes, Crapmaros, Firebirds) but not now. GM's build quality solidified me as a Ford man, Ford's aren't perfect but way better than Gubermint Motors stuff.

Whenever a company gets a major recall, suddenly everyone pays attention to all their minor recalls and issues for a few months, then they move on to another company. Has happened before, will happen again.

This is true...and like I said everyone has recalls but the severity matters. Like when Ford had 3 back to back recalls for engine fires for the 1.6 eco-boost

At least they're stepping forward and fixing things unlike "old GM." How is it that once a new CEO comes in, somehow everything goes to shit?

I bet they decided to take a closer look at everything following the ignition switch issue.
